The article on various sports and fitness activities available in Dorset is fascinating. I’d never even heard of Goalball before. I hope you are going to do something about Walking Football in the future. The advert on the TV really encouraged me to have a go and I’m really enjoying it. Tend to ache a bit afterwards but hoping that will pass. Lots of local football clubs and Leisure Centres are arranging taster sessions at the moment so hopefully other readers will give it a try.

      Hi Bob

My name is Dave and I am the Sports Outreach activator at Bournemouth University. We have recently started some walking football session on a Saturday lunchtime (12-1) at the University. These sessions are completely free to attend and we have a great bunch coming up and enjoying using our low-impact astro turf pitches.

We run each week and it would be great to have you and any of your friends come and join us.

Feel free to call me on 01202 965502 for more information.

Congratulations on yet another really interesting issue and thank you so much for including the article promoting our latest show “The Land Far Far Away”. We hope that readers will come and watch our performances in January and February. Next year we hope to be able to take our shows further afield and maybe visit other areas in Dorset.

    Keep up the great work!
